Job Title
Position Description- Responsible for providing technical support and guidance to customers on the operation and maintenance of product lines, the Field Technical Support Specialist serves as the primary customer contact on technical and service related issues.
Position Responsibilities- Product installation and customer training involving software, hardware, and chemistry.
- Pre and post sales support in conjunction with Sales and Marketing teams.
- Active liaison role between field and in house groups.
- Experiment design, execution, and data analysis, including report generation.
- Primary contact for timely diagnosis and resolution of field service and support issues.
- Instrument hardware and software troubleshooting, often under challenging conditions.
Position Requirements- Bachelor’s or advanced degree and 5 years of industry experience is expected.
- Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or Chemistry experience is a strong plus.
- Prior engineering or software experience also desirable.
- Special consideration to those with prior technical/customer support experience.
- This is a demanding position that will require a high performing team player.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of time during peak activity periods within western region

Job Title
Position Description
- Evaluating and testing electrical products to determine compliance with applicable standards, writing reports, and communicating with clients.
- Providing local expertise for medical products such as x-rays, patient monitoring equipment, surgical equipment, laser devices, and patient care equipment.
Position Requirements - Bachelors degree in engineering
- Experience with compliance testing to UL and IEC medical standards
- Experience with the medical standard 60601-1
- Strong background with medical products
- Experience as a Certified Laser Safety Officer
- Experience with CB scheme testing of Medical Devices
- Prefer prior work experience with a medical products manufacturer, in medical compliance and/or with a testing agency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
- Prior project management experience is a plus
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Ability to make technical decisions and engineering judgments independently within established parameters
